Sustainability Series/Green Drinks Discussion on Water Conservation: Thursday, March 19th

Please join us for Water in Jackson Hole: A discussion on Energy, Conservation, and Resources – part of the Green Drinks Sustainability Series co-sponsored by JHTU

Thursday, March 19th, 6 PM at Spark JH (140 E Broadway Suite 25)

In the midst of droughts all across the West coast, you might wonder, what are the water issues in Jackson Hole? Sustainability Series and Green Drinks are partnering to present a panel of water experts to celebrate World Water Day. You’ll hear from experts on our water source; where does it go after we use it? Who else depends on this water? What are the main water concerns in Jackson? You’ll hear about the agricultural sector and improvements that are being made to reduce water consumption. And finally, it will be put in perspective as you hear about water conservation in buildings, and why you should be aware of it.

Come with questions, and an appetite for Snake River Brewing beer and snacks! Panelists include Matt Thackery, LEED Architect; Cory Toye, Director of Wyoming Water Project; Carlin Girard, Water Resource Specialist for Teton Conservation District; Johnny Ziem, Wastewater Manager for TOJ
