SRHWG: Watershed Connections

Join SRHWG for “Watershed Connections” — An Evening of Film, Conversation, and Community

The Snake River Headwaters Watershed Group (SRHWG) is hosting Watershed Connections on Wednesday, October 15, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at The Virginian Lodge. Join SRHWG for an evening of film, conversation, and community connection.

The event will feature a screening of Iconic Rises, a short film by Frogwater Productions that tells the story of the Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout and the collaborative efforts to ensure its long-term survival.

Following the film, SRHWG Steering Committee members, including TU’s Wyoming State Director, Leslie Steen, and Wyoming Water Policy Advisor, Kathy Lynch, will lead a discussion on the challenges and opportunities shaping water management and conservation across the basin.

Arrive early to enjoy light appetizers and connect directly with local nonprofits (including JHTU!) through tabling and conversation.

This free, public event brings together residents, partners, and stakeholders to learn about ongoing efforts to protect the health and resilience of the Snake River Headwaters. Photographer Sofia Jaramillo from Bronco Wild Fund will be capturing the evening.

Admission is free, but registration is encouraged through this LINK.
