Today, the Bureau of Reclamation has begun a gradual decrease of outflows from Jackson Lake. Flows will begin to decrease about 150 cfs per day over the coming month. TU is grateful for the efforts of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department in working with Reclamation to target a slow and steady rampdown, given the need to go from current flows of about 5,000 cfs to winter flows of 280 cfs by early October. This is great news for the fishery, as the goal for this long draw-down is to decrease stranding of fish and macroinvertebrates.
