Weekly Water Condition Update

Weekly conditions update β„πŸ’§

β€’ Following several warm, dry days, snowmelt has resumed and the snowpack is currently at 55% of normal.

β€’ Natural streamflow in gaged tributaries has once again increased in response to melt. While streamflow in most tributaries is near average for the date, more snowmelt and runoff have already occurred than is typical.

β€’ Jackson continues to fill and outflows remain near the winter target of 280 cfs.

β€’ Over the past week, Palisades outflows dropped to 11,200 cfs in response to a decrease in downstream irrigation demand due to last week’s cool, wet weather. As demand increased with the past several days of warm and dry weather, outflows have returned to 12,300 cfs.
