JHTU and our partners will be holding the annual Lake Creek Ranches Fish Rescue on Wednesday, October 15, at 9:00 a.m., as a tribute to our late board member, Spencer Morton. Volunteers will help safely relocate fish stranded in irrigation ditches near Teton Village back into the Snake River. Teams will walk the ditches and use electrofishing equipment to capture and release fish safely.
Please bring waders, warm layers (including a raincoat), and water. Lunch will be provided — please share any dietary restrictions when you sign up.
This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact on local fisheries and support ongoing conservation efforts!
