Adopt-a-Trout ’25-’26 Has Begun!

We kicked off another year of Adopt-a-Trout with Jackson Hole Middle School 7th-grade students! A huge thank you to our partners – Teton Conservation District, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, US Forest Service, and The Salmonfly Project – for their incredible efforts in teaching students about fish migration through PIT tagging and electrofishing, as well as water quality, fish habitat, and macroinvertebrates during our annual fall field day!

Programs like this give students a chance to connect with local fisheries in a meaningful way. Watching them ask questions, explore, and learn about the natural world is what makes this program so rewarding!

Stay tuned as we continue the program throughout the school year!
