About Us

Founded in 1983 in Jackson, Wyoming, the Jackson Hole Chapter of Trout Unlimited (JHTU) is dedicated to bringing together diverse interests to protect and restore local rivers and streams. Our mission is to ensure that future generations can experience the joy of wild and native trout in healthy, thriving watersheds. Currently, JHTU has a community of over 900 Jackson Hole residents and supports from beyond. JHTU is committed to conserving native trout fisheries throughout the region. As one of 12 Trout Unlimited chapters in Wyoming, we collaborate with the Wyoming Council of Trout Unlimited to drive impactful conservation efforts. Learn more about our current projects by visiting our Snake River Headwaters Initiative and Projects webpage.
