Bioengineering and Streambank Stabilization Workshop - March 2nd

Trout Unlimited, the Teton Conservation District, Snake River Fund, and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department have been collaborating on hosting a Bioengineering and Streambank Stabilization Workshop for Teton County Commissioners, agency staff, engineers, stream restoration practitioners, and community members. The technical workshop will take place March 2nd at the Teton County Library from 1 to 4:30 pm and focus on streambank stabilization, bioengineering practices, river restoration, and Wild and Scenic River management with a goal of advancing our community’s use of streambank stabilization methods that balance private and public infrastructure needs with ecological stewardship. Presenters and panelists will draw from national and local technical, permitting, and planning expertise. A "save the date" is attached. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you think may be interested. The workshop will be offered for continuing education credits. More information including presenters and a formal agenda will follow. If you have specific questions to ask of presenters and panelists, please email them to Leslie Steen at leslie.steen@tu.org
