Give Where You Fish - Embrace A Stream Challenge!

Please help your local Jackson Hole TU chapter raise funds for projects in our home waters!

We are participating in Trout Unlimited’s Embrace A Stream Challenge this week (until 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 14) – and we need your help! Our chapter recently received an Embrace A Stream grant for $4,500 to support our River Bend Ranch Restoration and Passage Project Phase 2, and now we have a chance to raise even more for this important project!

Your donation of $10 or more will go directly towards the future phase of the River Bend Ranch Restoration and Passage Project Phase 2 - a collaborative effort to improve habitat and passage for native Snake River Cutthroat Trout; stream, floodplain and riparian function; and bank and channel stability on the upper Hoback River outside of Bondurant, Wyoming.

The Embrace A Stream Challenge is a week-long competition to help bring critical funding to important local Trout Unlimited chapter projects in streams and schools across the country. Sponsored by Trout Unlimited and Orvis, and leveraging our network of more than 400 local chapters and councils, we are challenging all of our members and supporters to “Give Where You Fish” and ensure our coldwater resources get the help they need now more than ever. With dozens of great projects – and rivers – to choose from, you have the power to make an impact on a river close to home, or on a storied stream you’ve always wanted to fish. Best of all, your donation helps your local chapter and local volunteers make a difference in their home waters. Thanks to Orvis, your donation of $10 or more can unlock matching grants and other cash prizes to support these projects.

Here are 3 easy ways you can help us:
1. Go to www.embraceastream.org, search for Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited and make a donation.
2. Forward this email to 10 fishing friends and fellow conservationists and encourage them to join you in giving to JHTU!
3. Go to our Facebook page and “share” our messages to your network and be sure to use #embraceastream

We are incredibly grateful to you, our members, for your continued support through Old Bill's Fun Run, Tie One On, and volunteering. Thank you for considering also helping us through the Embrace A Stream Challenge.

Sincerely,
the JHTU Board
