The International Fly Fishing Film Festival has arrived and JHTU has a special viewing for your angling pleasure! Just like in years past, IF4 has selected a top-notch film lineup with stories that span the globe. These films are sure to get you fired up for the season ahead!

One of the highlighted film spawns locally. It focuses on the 100 year guiding and ranching legacy of the Turner family’s five generations at the Triangle X Ranch. It depicts how wild places, its mountains and rivers, define who we are. It is the story of a family blessed to live, work and share with others the Snake River, one of the most spectacular river corridors anywhere in the world. It shows how the Turner tradition instills a passion to protect the “wild” for future generations to come. The film portrays the career of a local guide and native, John F, Turner, and his remarkable career in wildlife and land protection.

The March event is being hosted by Jackson Hole’s Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the University of Wyoming’s Haub School of the Environment and Natural Resources. Proceeds from the night will go to fund continuing fishery restoration projects of TU, and also to a scholarship fund at the University for students who wish to pursue a career of being an outdoor guide with a strong emphasis in conservation. Special thanks to the Turner Family, IF4/Fly Fusion, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, and Bank of Jackson Hole for supporting this event.

Tickets are limited, so make sure to purchase yours before they run out. Hope to see you there!
