Support JHTU and the Snake River Headwaters Through Old Bill's Fun Run

Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited is honored to once again be participating in Old Bill’s Fun Run. Thanks to this community’s incredible support of our coldwater fisheries, in 2016 we launched the Snake River Headwaters Home Rivers Initiative – an ambitious effort to leverage TU’s long history of successful conservation work in the Jackson Hole area and increase our capacity to complete restoration and reconnection work on an even larger scale.

We are thrilled to announce a new project to restore four tributary streams on the Upper Gros Ventre River Ranch, a 990-acre property in the headwaters of the Gros Ventre currently owned by the Trust for Public Land and slated to become public land as part of the Bridger-Teton National Forest next year. We are working with project partners to reverse the effects of a long-abandoned irrigation system, so that after over 100 years of impairment, these streams can once again provide habitat for juvenile cutthroat trout and cold, clean water to the Gros Ventre River. Please consider a gift to Trout Unlimited – Jackson Hole to support this project and other new and exciting efforts underway through your local chapter.
